This interactive two day programme will transform people at all levels into effective work coaches and mentors, enabling them to apply coaching and mentoring techniques immediately in everyday work situations. It will also provide a measurable standard to any internal coaching currently offered. It is designed for organisations that want their managers and team leaders to adopt a more effective approach to their work. Previous attendees have included chief executives, general managers, and HR managers, right through to production line supervisors and office staff. In fact, anybody that has to work as part of a team and relies on other people's efforts will benefit from this programme.
By the end of the mentoring training course participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate the difference between a Coach and Mentor
- Understand when it is appropriate to coach or mentor an individual or a combination of the two
- Define preferred learning styles and understand how people learn
- Understand how to build real confidence in others by applying specific coaching questions that build internal representation systems:-

- Use coaching and mentoring models
- Apply practical coaching and mentoring skills in everyday work situations to increase performance and make communication easier
- Develop the performance of individuals:-

- Demonstrate their new learning's by way of a theory test on coaching and mentoring in the workplace
- Complete an Action Step Personal Development Plan of key skills they need to work on as a developing coach/ mentor

Accreditation
This is a non accredited course but those attending this programme and successfully completing the final assessment and questionnaire will be issued with the Coaching and Mentoring for Managers Certificate.
